I grew up in the wide, open farmland of north Mississippi, where stories were as much a part of the landscape as the cotton fields and winding dirt roads. These days, I make my home in the French countryside, surrounded by forests and mountains that keep my imagination restless and my heart steady.
I’ve spent my life in the arts: studying, performing, and creating. I hold a degree in Theatre from the University of West Florida, and my work has taken me from small-town stages to classrooms halfway around the world. In Vietnam, I taught English as a Foreign Language and launched a full performing arts program, giving students the chance to explore drama, dance, and voice, though not just as subjects, but as living, breathing ways to communicate and connect.
In theatre, I’m drawn to the director’s chair and the microphone. Places where stories find shape and voices find their truth. Beyond the stage, I read, write, paint, and bake, each another way to tell a story and share a piece of myself.
Whether I’m crafting a performance, teaching, or simply mixing colors on a canvas, my goal is the same: to bring light to a story worth telling.
